| Abstract: | The SLIM (simpler legislation for the internal market) initiative, examining areas of EU legislation which would benefit from simplification, has now moved into its third round, and is examining electromagnetic compatibility, insurance, and the co-ordination of social security systems. Member states have been invited to suggest further subjects for SLIM IV. Plot projects are being set up in nine member states to assemble consultation panels drawn from business and industry. |
