| Abstract: | Referring to e.g. Feldstein (1992) and Friedman (1953) classic cases and arguments this paper presents new evidence that reaffirms the predominance of local-currency pricing for consumer prices in Europe. The analysis is re-examined in a Mundell-Fleming framework with local-currency pricing. |
