Abstract:Design management is a part of marketing's activities. However, there is not much knowledge on the connections between marketing and design. The objective is to gain knowledge on marketing and integrated design processes. This study uses a case study approach, and cases were chosen from a range of categories. The study presents a framework that shows the connection between design and marketing. It is concluded that marketing and design complement each other and contribute to a new product development process.
