| Abstract: | The advantages of synergy as a combined use of some broadly conceived resources have been advocated for long, particularly in the interrelationships between various companies and in case of mergers and acquisitions. Much less has been said about the relation of managing synergy to strategic management and how these synergies may and should be identified, assessed and exploited. The study is aimed at answering these questions. |
