Abstract: | Securitization of the huge US' car loan business gave New York's Manufacturers Hanover Trust an idea for innovative deals. Together with the Reliance Group they signed a $160 million collateralized note-issuance facility (NIF), incorporating auxiliary programs, too. The idea is to provide financing for insurance premium business. This is a newly expanding business as small business resort to borrowing for their large insurance premiums in an effort to smooth out their cash-flow. |
