Abstract:Theoretical considerations on ecological consumer behaviour assume often that the effect of ecological attitudes on ecological behaviour is influenced by the perceived consumer effectiveness or the locus of control of reinforcement respectively. Actually empirical studies investigate the influence of these factors only in an isolated manner. In this study, the moderating influence on consumer behaviour is tested. There are recommendations given for marketing practice.
