Abstract:The authors focused on airlines as a case study when they reviewed the management strategies of tourism business in the post-crisis phase. The role of market orientation was investigated to gain better understanding about the organizational factors that help companies to survive the crisis caused by the "9/11" terrorist attacks. The findings of this postal survey reveal that market orientation has positive association with top management factors, interdepartmental factors and organizational systems.
