| Abstract: | An incentive scheme has proven an effective way of building team spirit and motivation at the AA's roadside services division, which is now marketing itself as the 'fourth emergency service' after fire, police and ambulance. The interesting thing about the system is that it motivates people to care most about the business unit which immediately concerns them and on which they can have most impact. |
