Abstract: | The report analyzes the retail market for industrially prepared soups in Spain. It excludes home-made soups, still accounting for an estimated 90 per cent of all soups consumed in Spain. Prepared soups are mostly available in dried form, although liquid soups do exist. The groups are: dried soups, including classic, extra and instant ones, and liquid soups including reade-to-eat soups in cartons. The period mainly covered is 1993-1997 with forecasts to 2002. |
