Abstract:This research focuses on the question of why so many firms fail and so few succeed in their pursuit of opportunities. By reporting investment behaviour and performance, and by conducting top management interviews, the study analyses and compares one successful seafood company with less successful firms in the industry. The study implies that opportunities and their associated threat(s) should be examined carefully.
