Abstract: | The article examines the formal negotiation process, a part of collective bargaining, drawing on ideal types of distributive and integrative bargaining, as well as formal/informal distinction. The article reports observations of the negotiation process that enabled a change agreement in a British multinational company. In the case, informal bargaining relations supported the formal negotiation process that established new employment contracts from internal labor market, generating the a joint governance process that enabled the change process. The negotiations process was crucial in forming a strategy. |
