| Abstract: | This article describes the introduction of GDSS into an organization. Some difficulties encountered were compounded by problems which could plague any new system. Lessons learned include: - plan and test system operation fully in a live environment, - have a champion who leads engenders user trust and commitment, - provide guidelines to assure appropriate participation, and - support anytime/anyplace access to promote spontaneity and participation. |
