| Abstract: | The paper discusses student plagiarism and determines which theory of ethical reasoning students invoke when defending their transgressions. As it has been demonstrated unethical behaviour in school can lead to unethical behaviour in business, correcting unethical behaviour in school can have a positive impact on organizational ethics. The findings suggest that students invoke deontology, situational ethics and Machiavellianism. |
