| Abstract: | European computer industry is in a bad shape. After several years long negotiations their merger efforts among themselves have failed and now the biggest shots on the European landscape , Siemens-Nixdorf, Philips, Olivetti, Bull, ICL are struggling for survival in face of American and Japanese competition. In the future only the biggest firms with $ 12 billion turnover and the small innovative ones will be viable. |
