| Abstract: | The author of the article states that besides lists of influencing factors of REtD inter-nationalization there is little theory and no methodology to explain the distribution of REtD activities in MNCs over certain countries. In this paper a new model is derived from four organizational theories and Shannon's information theory which is able to calculate the communication-efficient distribution of REtD by means of a genetic algorithm. The suggested design for an empirical study aims for a validation of the model. Practitioners may use the model for organization analysis and planning. The article provides a substantial list of reference s on this subject. |
