| Abstract: | Goalsetting together with feedback on the degree of goal attainment can help consumers in monitoring and thus reducing or stabilizing their in-home energy use. An experiment using the Indicator, a feedback monitor with a conservation goal is described. Indicator is evaluated and compared to other feedback methods.With daily feedback, a 12.3 percent reduction in natural gas use was achieved. |
