Abstract:This study examines travel members' social identification via their online community experience and its positive behavioral outcomes. Based on data collected from over 350 respondents belonging to MSN groups which are analyzed through structural equation modeling, it is shown that members' active participation strengthens their sense of belonging to the online travel community. This makes members support the community by showing many positive member behaviors, e.g. community promotion, knowledge sharing etc.
