| Abstract: | In the West the majority of employees are office based. However, little place is given to the physical environment of the office in organizational theory. The limitations of a new studies which attempted to uncover the basic dimensions or facets of workers' experience and evaluation of their offices are discussed. Using the approach of facet theory, 4 facets of worker experience are proposed: level, organizational unit, referent and focus. A survey of 215 employees in 4 organizations was carried out. The results support the proposed facets. |
