| Abstract: | This article focusses the aftermath of political restraints under the COMEON regime. The authors discuss low eastern per capita figures and intra-east trade per se that lead to discrepancies in the behavioral relatioship. This paper discusses the variables possibly responsible for these findings. Based on empirical research the authors suggest conclsions differ sharply for east-west trade versus intra-east trade. In east-west trade the authors obderve pronounced convergence in behavior to intra-western standards between the second and fourth convergence in behavior to intra-eastern trade there is no such convergence in behavior. |
