| Abstract: | Abstract theoretical discussions dominate the literature on workplace electronic surveillance, while the limited empirical study of surveillance has been confined to manufacturing. A corrective is offered by this paper firstly by locating surveillance in its legal context, and secondly by considering surveillance practices in complex, professional and high-value organisational settings. |
