Abstract: | The pathway to increase competitiveness in a micro- and macro-economic level is building business leaders (henceforth as: ldrs). That's why marketing (a word of ancient Greek origin) and leadership (here as: l-ship.) are two linked concepts. This study aims to examine if there is a potent relation among ldrs.' educational background (paideia), their personality traits, and their ability to formulate winning grand strategies for l-ship. It seems that the most important factor is related to the the characteristics of the 'mathematically' reengineered 'Spartan system' designed by Lycurgus. There is an in-depth literature review on the modern empirical evidence from academic journals in marketing as to formulate safe scientific arguments and the fundamental l-ship. efficiency formula. |
