| Abstract: | The retail markets for surface cleaners and scouring products in the UK include large surface cleaners /which are usually liquids/, liquid scourers and cleaners, scouring powders and pads, oven cleaners and window cleaners. The market increased to GBP 69 million in 1989, a 3 percent decline to 1988 in real terms, after three stagnant years. Market value is expected to remain steady up to 1994. Sales in the UK are low compared to some European countries and the USA. Large surface cleaners were the most dynamic factor.
