Abstract:In this study the authors develop and test a new model which describes the relationship between work-life benefits and positive organizational behavior (hereafter as POB). The empirical testing of the model is based on multiple-source data from two organizations and it was analyzed on the basis of social exchange theory and the norm of reciprocity. Results support the hypothesis that there is a connection between POB and work-life benefits. The findings suggest that organization should provide benefit programs that employees use and value in order to develop more effective POB.
