Abstract: | The archetypal manager is a dying species. Conservative left-brains concepts all appear outdated. Now the emphasis is on the right side of the individual. Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the new art and science of excellence - personal excellence. The related methodologies and applications are examined, including the right-brain origins of "intrapreneuring", and generally the great improvements achieved from introducing the technique of self-development programs. A few presuppositions which NLP has developed are discussed: the map is not the territory; choice is better than no choice; there is no failure, only feedback etc. |
