| Abstract: | The reduction in working time over the past few decades has come about in different ways and at different rates in the principal industrialized countries, as shown in the article. It emphasizes that the dominant trend today is towards the growing diversification of working time by sector, by company, and even by individual worker. The phenomenon clearly is the result from the more general diversification of types of work. |
