| Abstract: | A review of the realised returns on a portfolio of lower-grade bonds, and whether in the future they will continue to exceed those of high-grade bonds, the need to analyze the length of period to determine the accuracy of the measures of expected returns, how lower-grade bonds in a well diversified portfolio are no greater risk than high-grade bonds and how the accuracy of the risk measures primarily depends more on the number of independent observation than on the length of the time period under observation. |
