| Abstract: | Swedish central savings bank SwedBank and its Finish counterpart, Skopbank, have a decisive role in the saving bank movement. On the other hand, in Norway and especially in Denmark the central banks have a much smaller role. Nordic savings banks have a past which make them different from the commercial banks But this is changing, of course, the pace of the change varies with countries. |
