| Abstract: | The author says that working capital policy is a function of two decisions: 1) the appropriate level of investment in and 2) the mix for current assets for a set level of activity and the chosen methods of financing the investment. He explains further that the key output of a study of working capital is to recognise that one can achieve a balance between liquidity and profitability that satisfies corporate aims. |
