| Abstract: | Farm Credit Bank of Columbia provides mortgage and loan services to thousands of farmers in North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Until recently FCBC was using a terrestrial network to communicate with its remote offices. But it was costly and unreliable. So FCBC decided to install a VSAT network. In its first year of operation, the VSAT network will save FCBC at least 17% in communications costs. |
