| Abstract: | China's non-tariff measures are mainly import licence system and the foreign exchange management system. There still exist differences between many concrete deeds and GATT. The emergence is to simplify the link and formalities in applying for import licence, gradually narrow the range of goods which suits import licence; expand the ownership right and using right of foreign exchange for the local government; reduce the kinds of goods which implement import quota, increase freedom for import enterprises; increase transparency for a;; kinds of non-tariff measures and practise flexible and elastic non-tariff measures. |
