| Abstract: | During the past year or so. I have talked to a score or more of organizational change consultants - outside contactors who are hired to help managers shake up, improve, or transform large corporations. Many of my conversations with them were interviews, conducted for a book in progress called The Age of Heretics, a social history of the relationship between corporate culture and the counterculture during the past twenty years. Other interviews took place because I had been hired to help the consultants write books of their own. |
