Abstract:Geoff Clinton, Principal Lecturer, Financial Management Division, University of Wolverhampton, presents in this article the second part of his case study, which deals with graphical linear programming. He claims that the company is now considering the production of hydrated lime as yet in relatively small quantities and still very much at the experimental stage. The process requires rigid technical control. Quick-lime is specially sorted and selected, and the consequent machine slaking process closely monitored.
