| Abstract: | In this article the authors explain the results of their major survey into the use of information technology in human resources today, chief among which is the fact that the technology's potential remains largely unexploited in most companies. They were interested in three main questions. First, what use was made of information technology in personnel work? Secondly, to what extent are the potential benefits of the technology being exploited? Finally, what do managers perceive to be their current level of information technology competence and their development needs? |
