Abstract:There has been structural changes taking place in international airline industry. Global aviation has undergone much change due to the increasing liberalization of bilateral agreements, increased domestic and international competition, and privatization of airlines. Specific policy implications of marketing such as impact on service levels, price, and distribution are highlighted. Results of a survey conducted in South Central Pennsylvania on airline selection for foreign travel were presented for orderly decision making purposes by airline executives.
