Abstract: | This article represents something of a risk for the author - for two reasons. First, because it contains personal reflections upon himself. Second, because he risks being accused of hypocrisy. A tendency to keep things ticking over satisfactorily, avoiding major crises, has been predominant, rather than thinking longer term and developing and supporting new ideas. the author works on a principle that if you want anything doing properly you must do it yourself. |
