| Abstract: | Shareholder groups are prepared for a fight in the boardroom of coporate America. Before peace will be declared, they want assurances that there will be no major misstatements in annual reports due to error or fraud, and they want management to be accountable for its performance. The management accountant's role will be critical in guaranteeing that accountability. |
