Abstract:The Czech Republic, with its hallmark of political and economic stability, has become central Europe's hot favourite investment location. But doing business is seldom plain sailing and investors should not expect overnight returns. The surprising thing about the Czech Republic is just how quickly it has cast off its rigidly communist regime and embraced the economics of capitalism. It appears to be on the way to recapturing its pre-war status as a highly industrialised nation with one of the strongest GNP growths in Europe.
