| Abstract: | Although China is very rich in natural resources, it has lagged behind the advanced countries in tourism. The reasons for it are the insufficient input from the state, poor facilities and lack of mechanism for market competition as a result of the state's high protection over a long period of time. Therefore, to develop its tourism, China should expand its open scope, perfect the necessary facilities for tourism, strengthen the macro management and improve its service quality. Besides , it should accelerate the development of tourist goods, strengthen propaganda and legislation concerning tourism and training of the qualified personnel as well. |
