Abstract:The entrepreneurs who are most successful do more than make money - they build brands to last. With the brands they create, they mint money and meaning, lifestyles, dreams and tastes. A logo or a label conveys what a product is, its cost, value and looks, as well as something about the buyer. Creating a product indispensable to succeeding generations is a sure way to immortality. Spreading affluence, learning and media have created more sophisticated consumers demanding quality and class even if they are to pay premium prices.
