| Abstract: | Although China is facing many challenges and difficulties in utilising foreign direct investment, the overall situation is still not bad. It is estimated that the total foreign direct investment, actually used for the whole year will reach US$ 49.5 billion, up 15% over last year. At the same time, the structure of foreign investment will have some changes. With the state's focus in development moving westward, foreign investment will be shifted to the central and western areas gradually. The return of Hong Kong will accelerate the process of Hong Kong's. Macao's and Taiwan's capital at Hong Kong, to be transferred to the mainland. The average scale of the projects of the "enterprises in three forms of ventures" will enlarge. In foreign investment, the funds used in real estate will increase too. |
