Abstract: | This study shows how a place marketing framework assists in understanding the importance of measuring satisfaction with tourism products before developing these products. When improving attraction for selected users it is helpful to undertake surves of the satisfaction of these users with their tourism products and to use the findings in product development. Without product development dissatisfied users of tourism products are likely to seek alternative products from other suppliers or places. Survey results were reported for selected aspects of satisfaction with tourism products in Sheffield and the implications of the findings were evaluated for the city's product development. |
