| Abstract: | Environmental liabilities have slowed the privatization process for many state-owned enterprises and given foreign investors pause in acquiring private firms or entering into joint ventures in Central Europe. The experience of BCW in coping with urgent business and environmental threats illustrates an application of crisis management planning in one Central European firm. |
