| Abstract: | The paper explores empirical linkages btw. credit unions' (or CUs') policies and the financial performance, as measured by loan delinquency and profitability, using a unique micro dataset of credit unions in 3 Latin American countries. In general, it is found that performance depends in important ways on 2 types of CU policy variables. |
