Abstract:The author of the paper states that internet technologies establish new opportunities for managing internal and business-to-business relationships, (b2b) relationships, but the management prices are untested, and uninformed decisions are both common and costly. The author also states that the most fundamental effects on cost management practices have come in the areas of information communication and transaction proceeding. The paper considers that because cost management technologies are information-based, cost managers can apply the structures of traditional cost accounting discipline to emerging business-to-business relationship methodologies.
