| Abstract: | The supplier management activities undertaken by a sample of 149 UK based organizations are examined focusing mainly on the role of supplier assessment and supplier coaching, education and mentoring. It is identified that larger, higher risk organizations are beginning to reach out to their suppliers, primarily through assessment and evaluation, and to a lesser extent through supplier education, mentoring or coaching. |
