| Abstract: | Many of the research strides on strategic human resource management have occurred during the last decade, although the study of the field started already in the beginning of 1980s. Most of the strides mentioned have occurred in certain countries or areas of the world, but now the developments of the research field are beginning to emerge more globally. This issue brings together a set of papers of the academics that recently gathered at a conference in Cornwell. The aim of the issue is to foster the broader development of the research field of HR and lead the way towards the inevitable globalization. |
