| Abstract: | Corporate sustainability has various interpretations, but so has the concept of business excellence. This paper analyzes the current European Foundations for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model for certain biases towards various development levels and introduces an innovative two-step approach to assessing organizational performance with respect to organizational excellence and corporate sustainability. It emphasizes a combined focus (shareholders and stakeholders) on corporate sustainability and organizational excellence. |
