Abstract:The article discusses issues concerning the recovering strategies for a tourist service or a destination. The authors highlight the variation and complexity of challenges in tourism management caused by different catastrophe situations. According to the paper, managers should understand the role of networks and importance of organizational learning as a basis of the market rebuilding process. These are also key factors when organizations prepare strategies for avoiding future crisis.
