Abstract: | Through the responsibility of promoting local tourism products, visitor information centers have an important influence on the economic, social and recreational well-being of the area. Using the Pearce's Four Plus model, the purpose of this paper is to study how tourists use Australian visitor information centers. A questionnaire is conducted in 18 information centers. The results report which features tourists perceive important and what kind of needs do they have. The article provides important knowledge for the design of visitor information center facilities and services. |
