| Abstract: | A review of the 100 best stocks in l986. How investors benefited from small companies that were not involved in high technology, e.g. a garbage collection firm and an over-the-counter company. A review of the 50 worst stocks is also given, one quarter of whom were based in the petroleum states in the U.S., which were affected by the oil slump. The trend for more money to go into small growth stocks or mutual funds. |
